UAS 261 - Aerosonde UAS Flight Training

Course Description

This hands-on flight course allows students to earn a manufacturer's certification from one of the leading UAS platforms manufacturers in the U.S. Students will participate in live flight training utilizing the Aerosonde Small UAS platform, a leading platform currently operated for U.S. Department of Defense customers around the globe. Group 2 course.

Course Learning Outcomes

Knowledge:
  • Define the capabilities of the Aerosonde Textron system.
  • Identify Aerosonde ground school and simulator components.
Application:
  • Apply UAS course concepts to live flight training scenarios.
  • Operate complex UAS in a contolled environment.
  • Students will apply complex UAS course concepts to real life scenarios.
  • Evaluate flight situations and possible outcomes.
