Course Description
This specialized course provides experienced welders or advanced students with comprehensive preparation for the American Welding Society (AWS) welder qualification tests in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW). Instruction focuses on mastering the proper preparation and set-up of performance test coupons, including the techniques required to prepare code bend test coupons. The curriculum is designed to ensure students can successfully execute welds and bend tests meeting strict industry-appropriate quality levels necessary for professional certification.
