CIT 213 - Networking Technologies

Course Description

This course covers the knowledge and skills needed to troubleshoot, configure, and manage wired and wireless networks. The OSI model will be studied and identified to better enhance the understanding of how various parts work together. Included is an in-depth study of TCP/IP and the characteristics for maintaining a network and ensuring its security. Cloud computing and virtualization technologies will also be introduced. This course maps to the CompTIA Network+ certification exam objectives. Group 2 course.
