Course Description
This course provides the student with the opportunity to learn and apply the theory of basic Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) techniques on ferrous and non-ferrous metals in the flat and horizontal positions.  Group 2 course.

Course Learning Outcomes
	Knowledge:
-  Understand and use terminology common to the welding trade as defined by the American Welding Society (AWS).

-  Demonstrate proper handling, setup, and adjustment of GTAW equipment.

-  Demonstrate the ability to complete welds on ferrous metals and aluminum in the flat and horizontal positions with the GTAW process.
