Course Description

This hands on flight course allows students to earn a manufactures certification from one of the leading UAS platform manufacturers in the U.S. Students will participate in live flight training utilizing the Aerosonde Small UAS platform, a leading platform currently operated for U.S Department of Defense customers around the globe. Group 2 course.

Course Learning Outcomes

Knowledge:
  • Learn advanced aircraft systems and components along with advancing their flight skills and coordination. This specialized knowledge will prepare students for the Unmanned Aircraft System industry after graduation.
Application:
  • Apply what they are learning to real life scenarios. Decision making will play a large role in applying what they have learned.

  • Learn what it's like to receive manufacturer specific training. This course is identical to the training environment a student would receive when working for a large Unmanned Aircraft System manufacturer.
