AVF 241 - Advanced Drone Operations

Course Description

Students will apply what they have learned in previous courses by working largely in the field conducting simulated and real life flight missions. This course focuses on applying Unmanned Aerial Systems to future civilian applications such as inspections, aerial mapping, and aerial photography. Group 2 course.

  • Per the FAA Airmen Certification Standards (ACS), demonstrate competencies of Advanced Remote Pilot Areas of Operation during ground and flight evolutions in accordance with ACS requirements.

  • Per the FAA Airmen Certification Standards (ACS), demonstrate problem solving skills when mitigating risks encompassing personal minimums and maintaining fitness to fly in accordance with ACS requirements.
