There is a high demand for qualified technicians in the heating and cooling industry. HVAC/R technicians install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Because of continuing demand, HVAC/R technicians can usually find employment with good beginning salaries. The curriculum is designed by the industry and aligned with national competency standards. Within this degree students will have the opportunity to earn the following: Mechanical Contractor License and EPA Certification.
